Willie has extensive management experience gained at senior level in the Health Service which includes managing people and services. His experience ranged over negotiating and contracting, planning, project management, human resource management, conflict management and hospital management.At times of major change and scarce resources Willie provided leadership and guidance in implementing service improvement and aiming to provide greater patient satisfaction.
Willie is a trained Mediator qualified to MII standards. He holds qualifications in Human Resource Management, Public Administration and a Masters in Business Administration.
Willie was a Director of the Health Services Credit Union for twenty years holding all key positions at Board level. During this time the credit union expanded and extended its common bond nationally. Many new services were developed during his period in charge.
He is currently a Director of his local Kilcloon Parish and District Credit Union and Chairman of his local Community Centre Committee.
